Tunturi Lower Body Station

Similar to the upper body station, The Tunturi Lower Body Station features an easily adjustable seat as well as an 80kg weight stack that is safely enclosed and easy to adjust.

Whereas you will often see two separate machines in many gyms, one for the leg extension and one for the hamstring curl, the lower body station can be adjusted to perform both of these exercises using the one machine. This is very effective at working your quad muscles and hamstring muscles, and can be great for isolating a specific muscle group after doing a mass building movement like the leg press.[/one_half]

This is compared to other leg extension and hamstring curl machines where the seat is flat, which can cause you to slide forward in the chair and not get the most efficient range of motion from the exercises.

In the majority of cable crossover machines in your local gym you may only see the cable crossover go up to 45kg, but by offering a much heavier weight in each stack this not only allows for cable crossovers to be performed even by lifters that have been in the gym for many years, but also makes it possible to perform many other exercises with more than enough weight to properly work the muscle.[/one_half]

Tunturi Platinum 4-In-1 Strength Station Multi Gym[/one_half_last]Tricep pressdowns with a rope attachment, straight bar attachment or reverse tricep pressdowns are all possible for working your tricep muscles, while you can use both the cable attachments for either cable crossovers to work the chest muscles or perform double bicep curls to work your bicep muscles from an angle they may not be used to.

The same adjustment style that can be found on the seats in the other workout stations is also found when adjusting the height of the units on either side of the cable crossover unit. This means it is easy to quickly adjust the height of each cable and secure it in place ready for the next exercise, or even for supersetting such as performing bicep curls immediately after tricep pressdowns.

There are also handles on the front of the Tunturi cable crossover station to allow for pull-ups. There is a set of handles for the palms facing each other to work the inner back and traps more, and the wider handles for focussing the stress on the lats and biceps.

It is worth noting that although these module stations are all available separately, they will often require another of the workout stations in order to work, such as the leg press station requiring the lower body workout station, or the cable crossover station requiring both the upper and lower body workout stations which can mean it is better to buy the entire set as one item which will often reduce the waiting time for delivery.
