JTX Pro-50 Tri-Plane Vibration Plate Review
The JTX PRO-50 Tri-Plane Vibration Plate is a vibration plate trainer that has been designed with a larger base section than other models to provide the same sized workout area to the machines you may be used to using at your local gym.
This also provides you with more options when it comes to choosing the exercise and muscle group you want to train.

Types of vibration trainers
One of the most important things to look for with any vibration trainer is what type of movement the base plate has when in use. There are usually three main categories that these can fall into.
- High Energy Lineal platforms are most commonly found in high end commercial gyms and create a strong stretch-reflex contraction in the muscle fibres.
- Premium Speed Pivotal creates vibrations at a lower speed to be used for more physiotherapy work.
- Medium Energy Lineal is the most common vibration movement created by the base plate.
As the name suggests, the JTX PRO-50 uses ‘tri-plane’ vibration.
This features all of the benefits of the High Energy Lineal platforms with its very fast motion through the backwards and forwards, up and down and side to side actions.
By creating vibration through all three planes of motion this will benefit you whether you are looking to tone up, use the machine for strength training or even for rehabilitation.

Types of exercise possible with the JTX PRO-50 Vibration Plate
Because of the handle attachments either side of the main vibration plate and the large surface area, there are a wide variety of exercises available for your workouts.
Lunging, squatting, situps, standing abdominal workouts, push ups and plank exercises are all examples of exercises possible with the JTX PRO-50.
These exercises will work all major muscle groups including legs, arms, abdominals and chest.

The JTX PRO-50 Vibration Plate Display console and features
As well as the buttons for starting and stopping the vibration plate movement, you are also provided with a number of different programs.
These will create a different pattern of vibration depending on which muscle group you are targetting and help that exercise more effective.
A simple press of the ‘Low/High’ button switches from high power vibration (more used for toning muscle and building strength) to low power vibration (rehabilitation).
As well as this larger display console at the top of the machine, there is also a smaller console closer to the vibration plate. This is to make it easier for you to change the settings without having to stand up and get out of position if you are performing exercises such as situps or press ups.
The maximum user weight of 180kg is also much more than the limit found on the majority of cardio or weightlifting equipment, making it an option for just about anyone looking to improve their fitness.

Benefits of using vibration trainers
Vibration plates create a powerful, pulsating vibration that causes reflex muscles in whichever muscle group you are targetting to subtly contract between 30 and 50 times per second.
While the exercise itself is often beneficial on its own, such as lunges, performing it on the JTX PRO-50 will increase the amount of muscle fiber activation to help further strengthen and tone your muscles.
Another benefit of using vibration plates is that you don’t have to use any additional weight. It is essentially a way of increasing the effectiveness of an exercise without requiring free weights or cable machines.
This can be extremely beneficial if you are recovering from an injury and need a way to exercise the muscles while reducing the impact on your joints.
The recommended use of any high power vibration trainer such as the JTX PRO-50 is for sessions of no longer than 15 minutes, 3 to 5 times per week.
