The Tunturi Classic Row 3.0 Rowing Machine is another great looking exercise product from a company that produces some of the highest quality fitness equipment in the world.

Design features
Whereas most rowing machines feature a seat that slides along a single supporting bar, this Tunturi model features a very unique looking seat design where the seat slides along guides rather than on top of a bar.
But this doesn’t take anything away from the smoothness and strength behind its design, and will still quite comfortably support users up to 135 kg (21 stone).
This actually helps to restrict the twisting and wobbling motion that can be found in the seats of some rowing machines and helps provide a much more stable platform.
Together with the comfort and stability of the seat, another of the most important features to look for on any rowing machine is how clear to read the display unit is. Without knowing what range your heart rate is in, how long you have been rowing for or what distance you have covered in a particular time it is very difficult to judge if you have improved from the previous session or if you are pushing yourself beyond a particular heart rate range.

Display console design
With the Tunturi Classic 3.0 one of its best features is the clear display. You can quickly see strokes, time, heart rate, distance covered and speed as the main measurements across the top of the display, with several other measurements being kept track of down the right hand side such as the temperature and humidity of the room, and the total calories you have burned so far that session.
This display unit, the foot rests, all the controls for adjusting the settings for your rowing and the actual resistance is all stored in a very compact area at the front of the rowing machine.
Whereas some rowers have a very large fan section at the front for creating the resistance this is perhaps the most compact rowing machine we have seen, and even folds to be stored out of sight if needed, with just a 36cm x 50cm ground space required for storage.
