Paleo Banana Bread Recipe

Paleo Banana Bread Recipe

Yields 1 loaf (12 servings)


  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted (can substitute coconut oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the crumb topping:

  • 4 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Use a fork to combine the almond flour, cinnamon, and butter for the crumb topping. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the flours, baking soda, and salt. Use a whisk or a fork to ensure the flours do not clump and everything is mixed evenly. Set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, vanilla, honey, butter, and mashed banana. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with the crumb topping. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
