Compact, lightweight design
Whether you need a heavy duty frame design for Olympic quality bench pressing, or a simple flat bench for basic workouts, there will always be a bench to fit your budget. It just depends on how much of a sacrifice you are willing to make with the features they offer.
The Physionics HNTLB11 is one of the lowest priced flat benches currently available, costing less than 1 week’s membership at many high-end commercial gyms.
Taking the price into account, it’s important to realise that the features are a lot more limited compared to if you can stretch your budget to even £80 or £90.
Firstly, the flat design means you are restricted in the number of angles you can target your chest from. You also don’t have the leg developer, preacher curl, or lat pulldown attachments that are available with slightly more expensive benches.
Finally, you have the 160 kg weight capacity to consider. This does include your bodyweight, which means you will be limited to bench pressing with 30kg dumbbells if you weigh around 100kg.
Taking all of this into account, although your workout options are much more limited in terms of full body training, the Physionics HNTLB11 can be a useful option if you are just starting a fitness program and the weight capacity is sufficient.
