Bodymax Zenith Line CF880 Crossfit Functional Training Rig
The Bodymax Zenith Crossfit Functional Training Rig is a great example of the recent increase in crossfit training equipment, with a wide variety of different types of workout equipment taking up a relatively small space and allowing up to 10 people to workout on the training rig at the same time.
On one side of the Crossfit training rig you have a combination of bar safety catches and adjustable bars to rest a barbell on when performing exercises such as barbell shrugs or bench press (bench must be bought separately).
With the addition of just a barbell and some weight plates, this side of the Bodymax Zenith training rig can be used for heavy mass building exercises. These are the exercises that help develop overall body strength and muscle mass such as squats, bench press, overhead presses and barbell shrugs.
For an additional cardio section to your workout there is also a punch bag hanging down from the edge of the training rig. There is enough space around the bag so that when in use it doesn’t interfere with any other piece of equipment being used.

Crossfit training bars
The Bodymax Zenith CF880 Crossfit rig also has a variety of different bars, from the vertical ladder style, to horizontal ‘monkey bars’ and even a number of bars that slope up at an angle to really add variety to your training.
The bars that are angled up are wide enough to have a couple of people working out on them quite comfortably, while the ladder and monkey bars can be used without getting in the way of any other training.
The two sets of monkey bars have purposely been designed to have one set further apart than the other. This is not only for progression for those lifters who can’t move between the wider bars initially, but also to develop different muscle fibres. You can move much quicker between the bars with less of a gap between them, while the bars with more of a gap require more upper body strength to swing between and grip onto.
To make the most of the space the Bodymax Zenith Crossfit rig takes up, Bodymax have also added a dip station for an additional tricep, shoulder and chest workout.
Although this particular crossfit training rig has been designed with full commercial use in mind, if you are lucky enough to have the space at home then this is a great piece of workout equipment. You can focus on both bodyweight exercises and free weight mass building exercises when combined with a bench, barbell and weight plate set.
