Rack design features

[one_half]Whether you are starting to think about setting up your own home gym, looking to buy your first power rack, or even replace an existing rack, two of the most important design features to look for are strength and stability.

Being part of Bodymax’s ‘Zenith’ range of weightlifting equipment, the Bodymax Zenith Power Rack has been designed and built to commercial grade quality, making it just as suitable for commercial use as it is for use in home gyms.[/one_half]

One of the main concerns with power racks that include the pull up bars at the front is how stable the rack will be when you are performing the exercise.

To keep the rack firmly on the floor, the frame has been raised up on base supports that are longer than the frame itself. This means that even though your pull-ups are at the side of the rack, the extra length in the base frame keeps the weight closer to the center and prevents it from moving.

Aside from the pull up bars to perform variations of pull ups and chin ups, the vertical supports each provide you with 16 different height positions for where you want to set the bar supports.

With two sets of the smaller bar supports provided, there’s no need to keep moving them around if you change between performing an exercise in the rack and performing an exercise under the pull up bars.

Standing in the center of the Bodymax Zenith Power Rack gives you the option of using the safety rails. These prevent the bar from moving below a certain point, which is useful if you want to attempt lower rep strength sets without the aid of a spotter.
