Design features
The main idea behind the design of the Gorilla Sports weight bench is to provide an option for anyone that wants a flat bench to perform barbell and dumbbell exercises, but who is also limited on space.
Although there are no incline settings available, there is the option to fold the back support down at the front to create a decline angle for performing situps.
A strap has also been added to the top of the back support to prevent your feet from slipping when performing this exercise.
Each of the barbell support sections can be adjusted through a number of height settings to provide you with a starting height for the barbell that is best suited to your arm length.
This can help make exercises such as the flat barbell bench press safer, as it means you don’t have to worry about stretching to reach the bar or rack the bar after a set.
The stability of the bench is improved with the use of a horizontal stabilizing bar at the base of the front of the bench and through each contact point of the bench with the floor being protected with rubber feet.
