Dips and push ups

[one_half]Although the JML Iron Gym workout bar is designed primarily around performing variations of the pull up, by laying it on the floor you can also perform push ups and dips.

It’s worth noting that these exercises can be performed with varying levels of effectiveness. For push ups this is an excellent design.

The curved and padded handles make for a much more comfortable grip position than resting your hands on the floor and the extra height off the floor means your triceps, shoulders and chest muscles go through a greater range of motion.[/one_half]

If you are serious about performing dips however, then you will probably still need to buy a specially designed dip station just to give you the range of motion you need.

Abdominal and core workouts
