The Physionics HNTLB06 weight bench and barbell rack system has been created as an effective way for anyone that is relatively new to weight training to start performing compound exercises such as the bench press and squat.

Although a weights bench can provide you with some effective exercise possibilities when combined with a dumbbell or barbell set, to perform many of the main muscle building exercises it is also necessary to own a barbell rack.

This is one of the reasons why the Physionics HNTLB06 is such a cost effective set of workout equipment.

In terms of its design, the barbell rack can stand independently of the bench, which turns the frame into more of a walk-in squat rack when you want to perform squats or even overhead presses.

To change the height of the barbell there are two bar supports, one attached to each of the upright frame sections. These can quickly be adjusted to sit in any one of the 5 preset positions.

As well as allowing you to set the bar at a more comfortable position for squats, this also means you can benefit from each of the 7 different back support positions on the bench.

The storage pegs built into the back of the frame are a useful addition for keeping the different weight plate sizes separated and quick to change between sets.

Bench design features

Although the weights bench and barbell rack are supplied together, the weights bench can still be used independently thanks to its free standing design.

This makes a whole range of additional exercises possible if you combine this with a dumbbell set, such as dumbbell flys, pullovers, and incline dumbbell curls.

Although the bench for the Physionics HNTLB06 doesn’t feature a leg developer, you do have the option to attach a preacher curl pad. This can be secured using a small hand wheel under the seat, allowing you to add preacher curls to your biceps workouts.
