The Physionics HNTLB08 weight bench is one of the lowest priced weights benches to buy for your home gym, but still offers a range of incline levels and seat positions.
If you are thinking about buying a new weights bench but have a tight budget, the Physionics HNTLB08 is one of the lowest priced weights benches currently available.
Despite the low price there are still a number of different positions you can adjust the bench to, from flat through various incline positions to nearly vertical.
To provide better support for exercises performed with the back support at an incline, the seat can also be adjusted and held in place using a similar quick-release locking pin.
Another important feature of any weights bench is its stability. The Physionics HNTLB08 has been fitted with rubber feet to act as a cushion between the main frame and the floor, also helping to prevent any damage.
Although this particular bench isn’t provided with a squat rack, the Physionics HTAL01 or HTAL03 barbell supports would make an excellent addition if you wanted to perform barbell exercises (see gallery).

Price comparison with similarly priced benches
While you may not necessarily be able to find a cheaper weights bench, it can be useful to know which features are included in other benches in a similar price range.
The York B500 weight bench usually retails for around £70, but does provide a wider variety of exercise possibilities thanks to the addition of barbell supports and a leg developer.
While it does take up a bit more space than the Physionics HNTLB08 when in use, it can also be folded up to make storage easier.
One other bench offering a different feature to other weights benches is the Bodymax CF302. Although this is again a bit more expensive, the quality of padding on the back support is improved, as well as providing you with a dumbbell storage rack beneath the actual bench.
The only downside with this option is the lack of adjustable back support angles, with the Bodymax CF302 being a fixed position flat bench.
